![]() ![]() Lucy, a Cottenham resident, says, “There’s already a great community café in the village but there’s definitely room for something a bit different. A pop-up café seemed perfect – “We’re not tied to any one venue or high business rates and we can bring the food we love to the villages where we live”, says Emma who lives in nearby Landbeach. The two sisters were looking for a way to combine their passion for food with looking after their children and using the skills they’d learned from their own businesses. Lucy’s sister, Emma, was closing down her own online business and was also ready for a new venture. The sisters are excited to be bringing the amazing salads, filling savouries and delicious cakes, that were so popular in Stickybeaks, to Lucy’s home village. Lucy and her business partner sold Stickybeaks in 2018 to pursue other interests Lucy’s being starting a family. Lucy and Emma are launching Stickies at All Saints Hall in Cottenham with two dates planned so far: Monday 9 th and Saturday 14 th September from 12 noon to 5pm. Stickies is a new pop up café run by chef Lucy Robinson, co-owner of successful Cambridge cafe, Stickybeaks, and her sister Emma Downie. ![]()
